Music to get you dancing

Here are some lists of useful music divided by speed - so if you're fairly new to salsa go for the slower tracks listed here.

All these tracks are available for about .79p from iTunes as individual downloads. You don't need an iPod to play these but you do need the iTunes software, which is free. Download the software, go to the iTunes store, search on the titles listed here and purchase the track. You can then burn the track to CD using iTunes itself - it's pretty straightforward once you get past the trauma of installing the software!

You can sample 30 seconds of these track using iTunes so use the sample to check my speed ratings - there's a lot of variance within each band!

I can't link you from here to the iTunes download because the blog is set up to deter spammers but if you type: >> itunes free download <<  into Google you should get the link at the top of the list.

If anyone knows any cool (and we mean cool - nothing boring please!) salsa tracks please add them in the comments box below - it'll help if you provide the following information:

- track title
- album title
- artist
- where it can be purchased as a single track (e.g. iTunes, Amazon etc)
- approximate track speed - slow/medium/fast

Salsa blogs
Thanks for the list of tracks to "track down"!

I am currently writing a site for Salsa Gill on the Wirral. I am interested to know if installing a blog has made a significant difference to both your search results and your number of visitors, I would be extremely grateful if you could give me some indication of your results.
Best regards
and Hi from salsa dancers in the NW
