 'It's Fry's Party time Again' with Mr Sleek29 Jan 2010Keynsham, BristolWe start this year's parties off with the talented international teacher and performer Sam Mr SleekSam arrived on the UK Salsa scene in 2002. Having watched so many local dancers he felt the necessity to develop his own unique and creative style which he developed by drawing on elements from different types of dance. Sam's popularity took him by surprise and this helped him in making the decision to take his dancing to the next level being a full time professional teacher/performer. Incidentally the name Sleek was given to him as a testimony to his light smooth but effortless style. Coming down with Sam is his friend Jim Harris. Jim is another international teacher/performer and we have taken this opportunity to ask Jim to give our beginners two salsa lessons in the Somerdale room. As well as teaching, Sam also DJs so he will splitting the air time between the two rooms with Tiny Tim. Sam says he will be bringing down some of the newest tunes to hit the scene and some cool RnB tracks with you won't have heard! Tim doesn't need much of an introduction as he is our resident DJ and as always will be keeping the dance floor packed with his own style. The two rooms will be playing a Latin combination of Salsa and Bachata with just a hint of Cha Cha and Reggaeton. Facilities: 2 Latin rooms, 2 Latin DJs, chill room, fully stocked cheaper bar, secure off road parking, ample seating, fully air conditioned, massive balcony for smokers, the friendliest people!
