 Party- Bachata Special with Dan & Bex5 Jun 2010Latin Lounge, The Barbican, PlymouthSalsa Party-Saturday 5th June 2010 with special guest and European Open Bachata Championships' runner up Dan Stribley & his partner Bex Veysey. Fresh back from Teaching at the Swedish International Bachata Festival, Dan & Bex will be giving a Bachata class from 7:45pm, after class there will be a short Bachata freestyle session. During the party Dan & Bex will delight us all with a Cool & Funky Demonstration. Dan was placed 2nd in the 2007 European Open Bachata Championships and in 2008, teamed up with the beautiful Bex to take their dancing and teaching to next level. Dan has only been dancing salsa and Bachata since 2006. However, in that short space of time his natural talent and understanding of the music and dance sequences have led him to dizzy heights. He has been instructing and performing both styles of these Latin dances since 2007 and as mentioned above, came 2nd in the 2007 European Open Bachata championships. Bex Veysey - Bex started dancing in her early years and took lessons in Ballet, Tap, and Modern. She started dancing salsa in 2004 and in 2006 she was asked to join and teach at her local club. Bex also teaches Modern Jive and Street Dance. Bex has obtained UKA Bronze, Silver and Gold Medals in salsa. Hope you all can make it !!
