 Magna Gopal - Queen of the danceIt's been awhile since I raved about Magna Gopal so here's a catch-up with the Queen of salsa! She's at the top of the tree but her every movement is an inspiration and a lesson in the divine art of followers' salsa - if there's one dancer of whom it can be said 'this is how you do it' then Magna is the one! If there's one thing that draws me into this dancer it's the amazing level of balance she maintains in all her movement - she is never compromised by her partner and she's always ready for the next (and usually unexpected) element in the dance - and yet, whilst being completely in tune with her partner she is also wonderfully expressive and creative - there's no sense that she's 'just a follower' - she's as active a particpant in the dance as her partner - and none of these clips would be as exciting without the qualities she brings.
