Every Monday evening during term-time. The venue has a habit of changing due to room availability so please check here for the latest information or call Ian on 07801 889463. The most likely venue is the Lemmy - if there's a venue change we'll put a notice on the door...


You can join on any date (this is a rolling programme of dance classes, not a course that has to be joined at the beginning!) and you don't need a partner (but there is a tendency early on for there to be a few more girls than guys - so if you can persuade the guys along please do - they'll enjoy it!).

We teach Cross Body (New York style) salsa.

7.00-7.30 - Absolute Beginners (ideal for complete beginners!)
The same intro class every evening - basic footwork, basic partnerwork

7.30-8.00 - Technique 1
A 5-wk cycle covering Cross Body Lead, Turns, Half Crucifix, Full Crucifix, Changing Places

8-8.15 - Practice time

8.15-8.45 - Technique 2
Developing what was covered during the Technique 1 class e.g. Cross Body Leads with inside and outside turns, Followers Left Turn, Half Crucifix variations etc

8.45-9.00 - Practice time
9.00-10.00 - Improver class
Moves for people who are comfortable with the stuff we teach in Technique 2 and want to stretch themselves a little further!
