Publishing your own blog article on the Salsa Kernow website
You too can have a blog article here where it can be seen and commented on by the local dance community!
All you have to do is write the article - make a note of any web addresses for website links or YouTube videos and email (with photos if you have any) it to: ian.cox@gomango.co.uk
We reserve the right to refuse any submitted article (so if you are unsure about the piece then email us a synopsis first and we'll tell you if we are likely to be able publish it). We also reserve the right to edit any submitted article (but we won't publish any edited item without the agreement of the author).
So far so good... here are some publication rules you need to consider...
- Articles must be relevant to dance (and preferably relevant to Salsa - but if you want to have a rant about the superior qualities of Mongolian Moon dancing then that will probably be ok!)
- If you are promoting a commercial product related to dance that's ok as well but depending on the product we may charge you for the entry - fees to be confirmed on application - and your article will be clearly flagged as a commercial item
- Whilst we strongly encourage controversial views we're not into abusive stuff or items that are likely to cause personal upset to others - so please bear this in mind when writing
- We would like material that is likely to cause debate - the blog allows people to comment on the articles and we want as much comment as possible!
- We strongly encourage articles from teachers, professional dancers, salsa/tango DJs, event organisors, clothing producers, musicians and anyone else professionally involved with dance
- And if you have had a good or bad dance experience - maybe on a dance holiday or weekender or whatever we would like to hear from you
